Sergei Dorokhov Fine Art

Sergei Dorokhov paints in transparent watercolor, building each painting around light: the shape of sunlight on a narrow street, the pattern of shadow across a wall, the white of untouched paper. His subjects move between the sunlit old towns of southern Europe and wide, open landscapes. Working with a limited palette and few, decisive washes, he looks for the moment when a place is defined less by its details than by its light.

His work was selected for the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society’s 47th Annual International Juried Exhibition (2026, juror Chris Krupinski) and is held in private collections in Russia, Germany and the United States.
